    Greetings everyone,

Our W32 #38 Sumna is now in the water (after 1.75 years of work) and after some rig tuning sails like a new boat!

We are now tending to the endless minor details. Such as best place to stow our anchors. Sumna came as a pretty bare bones (misc parts-boat in totes) so we have no archival information to go by.

Currently we stow our #35 plow on the bow sprit. Sumna came with a #25 Danforth in a lower closet and deck brackets in a bag. We would like stow the danforth on deck somewhere.

We also have a new #45 plow for our Newfoundland trip to stow somewhere.

    Any suggestions/recomendations are greatly appreciated!

When the dust settles we will post a bunch of pics of the various extensive projects we completed.

I have about the same rig you do.  I store my 25# danforth on a bracket attached to the bow pulpit.   That way it's ready for use when needed.   West Marine sells the brackets.

I find that about 5% of the time the CQR won't bite on a particular bottom.  When that happens the Danforth usually will bite.   That's why it's nice to have two of diverse types.

Take a look at the slide show in the Members area > Images from members > Deck and Bow. Toward the end of the slide show there are bow shots from W32's.  Maybe I need to make a seperate slide show of just the bow?
