What type of zinc are others using on there bobstay fitting? I have been using a clamshell with about a third cut off with an angle grinder. I figure there has to be a better solution.

I am using a smaller sized clamshell: Small enough that that the bolt goes to the front of the hole and I don't have to cut it.

    Grinding zinc is not fun!

Seams to work on a 2 year haul out cycle.

I take 2 small teardrop zincs and fit one on either side of the bobstay fitting then through bolt them and clamp them down hard to the fitting.  No modification of the zincs required.

I have been using and selling a 2" diameter round rudder zinc.  Consists of a pair of these, with a bolt going through the center, so you have a zinc on each side.  Sometimes it is necessary to trim some off of one side to clear the fiberglass on the bow.

I shot this image this week - I have a zinc on each side - fits nicely.
