Steve, you're so right about getting the hell off the boat, but at the same time it's easy to understand the impulse to try to save something you love and have time and money invested in.  I hope I never have to face that decision, but if I do, hopefully it will be the right decision.  Odile was a cruel storm and the loss of any lives is deplorable.  Never having sailed the Pacific or Mexican coast I'd be interested to know the difference in the marinas, both in construction and geographic sites vs. storm winds.
