Eric's private eye detective inc is on the job sir.

Here's a link to the most recent news I could find on a Westsail 32 named Puppy.

...and here is the article in it's entirety:

I’ve got phone call and letter from disappeared yachtsmen’ friends:

I spoke with you yesterday over the phone from Los Angeles, USA about the disappearance of my friends' yacht. It has been three weeks since they have been in contact.
They began sailing between the 12th and the 15th of May from Marquis Islands from the island of Niva, from the Atuona Harbor towards Tahiti and they have since disappeared. The overall route was from Los Angeles to Vanuatu.
The names of the two people present: Anatolii Lau, 38years old, and Natalia Safronova, 40 years old. The name of the yacht is Puppy. It is 32 feet, one mast, American flag, on the mast they also always display either a Russian or a an Andreev flag. Radio connection: SSB call WDF3801 and MMSI 367444160. Net 8288 MHz.
Photos of the two people present and the yacht are attached.
Thank you very much for any help you can provide,
    Igor.

I’m asking all who may know something or may find out – please help.

His Facebook page seems to have been unused for years but here is his blog with the latest date entered June this year. Boat left LA 914 days ago and seems to be in the South Pacific somewhere.
