In your post, you made reference to "mounting a brass seacock". That reference to "brass" was most likely unintentional, but I thought I would mention it, on the off chance that it was not.  (I doubt that anyone even makes a true seacock in brass.

Owners frequently use the term "seacock" to refer to any thru-hull fitting, including common household "gate valves", made of any material, though typically brass.  I'm hoping you do know the difference between a true seacock and any other valve, as well as the importance of using bronze and not brass.

If this was simply an oversight, please forgive the observation. If it was not, please investigate the difference, before making the mistake. As a relatively new Westsailor, I thought it was worth the mention.
