    Plans are coming together for the Sept 28-30 event at the San Leandro Marina.

    Updates on the event:

    Bud Taplin, Dave King and Ruth Helsley are joining us again this year.

    Gary Burton is planning on sailing down the coast to attend also!!

    The WOA store will be open for a few hours Saturday afternoon and will be managed by Terry Shoup and possibly Kirk Brown.

    On Saturday afternoon,  Ethan Hirschfeld of Hirschfeld Yacht - Beta Marine West in Sausalito will be on the docks talking about the care and feeding of diesel engines.

    I have a 6 person life raft that is 30 years out of date -- to give away or test to see if it will inflate and hold air!!

    As of now, Kirk and I are planning to be there to man the store.  I'm planning to have the merchandise available from noon to four on Saturday afternoon and from nine to eleven on Sunday morning. 

    I'm going to bring everything we have, so bring cash or checks -- we're not set up to take credit cards.

    Currently we have signed up about 40 for the Saturday dinner and 11 W32 are scheduled to attend -- the post rondy rally in the SF bay area - looks like about 5 boats with 3 maybe's. 

    See you all there next weekend.  I'll be arriving about 4:00 PM Friday - with the possiblity of others arriving mid week!!

    You can download the 2012 Northern California Westsail Rendezvous and the Free permit for the Aquatic Cove Park as our bay cruise is scheduled to overnight on 10/5 Friday to view the Saturday Fleet Week activities.
