Electric bilge pump hose routing

    Hi All

I needed to replace the 35 year old bilge hose (on my W32) that goes from the deep bilge to a port-side outlet right at the back near the rudder. I pulled out the old, broken 1 1/2" hose. Now I'm having great difficulty threading through the new 1 1/4" hose (to go w the new pump). Any one got any ideas about the best method/routing? There seems to be very little space......

    Thanks

PS - forgot a critical detail of the setup - this is a 1976 boat with the full engine room liner.

    Chris,

Did you fix tis issue yet? I'm curious because I've got to do the same soon and wanted to know how you got it to fit. Good luck otherwise, wish I cold help.

Turned out easy once I found out how... It goes down the port side just forward and to the side of the transverse piece of the engine room liner that the prop shaft goes through. My prop shaft goes through quite a large opening (I was able to replace the stern gland via it) and the bilge hose coming down needs to be shoved a little forward (and thus out of sight) between the end bit of the side of the liner and the hull. I have no pictures so I hope this is of some use.
