Hi everyone! I just bought Lawrence Arsenault's SS boomkin and plan to install it in the spring (April!). We have a wooden boomkin that we rebuilt a few years ago - our mainsheet is on the boomkin (old school I know). Can someone send me a picture of their block configuration for the SS boomkin hoop arrangement? I have seen the lovely over-the-companionway-hatch travellers and would prefer that but it's not in the cards for me this year. I'm wondering as well if anyone has any advice regarding fitting a vang. I think changing the mainsheet to a single site rather than the current four will make my lack of a vang even more problematic right? I'm sure there's a thread somewhere about this!

My PO installed the SS boomkim and made a teak platform for the top of it.
The main sheet config is the same as original, no traveler. It's never been an issue.
