Has anybody done this before? How did it work?
We are thinking of switching to get a bit more space to add a possible aft cabin.

It's not a Westsail but, Bianca blog has written an excellent series of blog posts relaying his experiences with installing and living with an electric sailboat for many years now. I believe he has a Thoosa electric motor.

@Eric, that's a great documentation of switching from a diesel to and electric motor!
