    She is actually not a Westsail. She's a Samson C-Mist 32. Almost identical.How do I know? Because I just bought her! She is a beauty…needs a lot of finishing work though. C-Mists were usually Ferro Cement , but this one is thick , hand laid fiberglass. The hull is approx. 2" thick.One of the selling points for me was that she hasn't had any hardware attached to the cabin top yet …perfect for me …as , I am buying her to build as a Chinese Junk rig.

    That being said, I have a virtually brand new set of sails and lots of rigging hardware that I will be selling to pay for the new rig.

    Are you the Jonny Kaplan with the Lazy Stars?  Did we meet on your W32 a few years ago?

    Johnny,  When you get the sails sorted out I'd be interested in a storm trysail and possibly a Genoa.  My only headsails are the stays'l and a Yankee.  Tom Koehl

    Yes …that is me! How are you??

    I spent the day on the boat yesterday…she is incredible. It is definitely love at first sight. haha.

    She will be in the yard for … at least a few months …while I get an engine and everything under the water line sorted out.

    I'll try to get some more pictures soon. It's hard to get good exterior shots , because she is buried in the back of the yard.

    Jonny,

    I hope you occasionally post on your progress as this looks like a really interesting project.  I wish you all the success in finally getting your junk rig. The boat does look suspiciously like the Westsail.
