This beautiful, bulletproof Westsail with an incredible hand-crafted interior has a colorful history, having sailed the coasts of California and Mexico, through the Panama Canal, toured the Caribbean and the east coast with her last owner alone. We purchased her two years ago as an investment and writer’s cabin-on-the-water and sailed her just a dozen times here in the bay. We love her and would like to keep her, but she whispers of a longing for the open ocean and faraway shores. We cannot grant her wish. We hope you can.
We are interested in selling her to the right individual, hopefully someone intent on cruising but indeed to anyone who will love her.
Here is a series of photos by her previous owner.
Imagine the same boat a decade later, weathered and revarnished, with the sole change being that we installed a wood burning stove to replace the kerosene.
