WOA store

    For the second year in a row ,I have been forced to cancel to cancel checks after been out there foe three months for the  WOA store  . MY average order was around 150.00 and either the checks never made  it or what ever. I am certainly one that patronizing the store and have made use of the Rondee for stocking up . With all of this said ,there must be a way around the USPS or checks and at least give you a 50/50 chance of east coast to west coast . . . .

    Have you NOT heard from Kirk about your order?

    I emailed Kirk's address on the store page multiple times (stores@westsail) and never heard back. First time all the WOA email addresses bounced, but even after that was fixed, my emails went unanswered. Maybe the stores address forwards to another and this forward action is broken?

    I wanted to get a response via email before I sent money. I would think that Paypal or Zelle might be easier than sending a check blindly?

    Yes do contact Kirk thru stores@westsail.org before sending checks but before I post kirk's regular email address I'll need to get his permission. 

    Yes the stores@westsail.org is forwarded to Kirk and Ron... and I'm retesting to confirm our domain hosting service is working as expected. 

    We don't use paypal and other services for the store at this time as the association would incur more expenses over time then is reasonable for our small organization. 

    Also Kirk/Ron need to check the inventory and current price before setting up the delivery/shipping et al for the order.  

    Question for you -- did you get any bounce back messages when using the stores... email address... also can you test the stores@westsail.org again to see the replay/bounce ?

    I'll get back soon on the email issues...

    I've made some background changes to the stores@westsai.org email -- and have tested successfully. 

    Kirk, Ron and I will be getting the emails -- hopefully this will resolve the issues... 

    Also go ahead and test the new settings -- and resend your store items email...

    Please advise as needed to webmaster@westsail.org or jay_bietz@sbcglobal.net...

    Just FYI, I would like to order items from the store but cannot mail a check from Guatemala. If you need to raise the price to cover PayPal costs I would not mind

    Thanks for your comments and ideas about the Westsail merch.. 

    There is another issue that needs to be mentioned and that is the "supply chain" is not functioning as in the past ie product availability... 

    Ron, Kirk and I are talking about solutions moving forward -- we hope to have some ideas for the members soon.

    Quick update on the store. 

    I've researched the use of a Print On Demand service and think that this may work out for the WOA store. 

    Since Collene and Kirk will actually have to manage the store process, they have picked the project. 

    I'll advise as more is known.
