    There is a W32 sinker for sale on EBay. What is the residual value, if any, of a previously sunk W32?

    Someone thinks  she worth ~$4000 as of this time/date... Scroll back through Tyler Bechel this blog   to see the work he is putting into his W32 that sunk in a river.

    That boat is DELTA BELLE formerly owned by Skip Munns before she sank in Isaac.  We met with him and he was a very nice guy.  I live right next to Mandeville, Isaac wasn't fun.  have some videos from that storm on our website.  Unfortunate that she sank.  

    He told us that the dock lines were too tight and he left a sink seacock open.  Once the water level went above the sink it start filling the boat.  When they refloated her, there were no leaks or hull damage, just a left open seacock that wasn't even defective. 

    If anyone decides to bid/buy this boat, we're right down the road.

    I guess what I was referring to was the value considering the need to refurbish/replace all the cabin furniture and all the wiring and electrical/electronic components. From the description, the engine may or may not be salvageable. Is it not the case that this boat is worth less than a bare hull?
