Wife and I completed the build out (we bought her unfinished) when I owned a marine repair business in San Diego. Layout was created to our own plan,, so its likely a very different plan than most of the 42s, but everything was done by actual shipwrights and ABYC systems guys, mostly finished in 2008-2009, then new engine block and rig 2016.  Sailed from California to East Coast, she handled the 7 month trip great, including 5 days in a tropical storm (yikes) with no issues.
