WS28 jib furler

    I know I read somewhere in the manual which Pro Furl furler you recommend for the 28?

    I am looking at Pro Furl, or the Alado A2 seams to have good reviews.

    My boat came with a yankee jib, and a large genoa.  Will too much head sail hurt the performance of the 28?

    I'm interested to hear the responses to your jib size question, since I just installed a Harken cruising furler. I am about to have North Sails make a jib to fit the furler but am not sure about appropriate size. Not so big as to hinder sail performance when reefed, but not so small as to be useless. So what size is that exactly?

    I have had an Alado A2 for a couple of years now and can see nothing wrong with it despite what the sail makers said. 
    It's one of the simplest furlres on the market.  There is simply not much to go wrong with them.
    The only problem that I could mention is the halyard is small and hard on the hands unless you use a larger one for the tail. I see it as a small price to pay for simplicity and an attractive price! 
    I highly recommend them.
