For what's it's worth, I found extensive cabin top de-lamination on SV Liberate where the cabin top traveller was through bolted. The core was soft and rotten on both the port and starboard 6 feet forward. As I plan to take Liberate off shore this summer I chose not to cut corners. 28 days of labour. My local shipwright in Victoria removed the entire underside of the cabin top and re-laminated closed cell structural foam with G10 sheeting (i think) for backing plates for the traveller and every deck fitting removed over drilled, epoxy filled and re-drilled the right size. 5 figures to do the job properly....Terry #757
