Just received news that one of the founders of the WOA, Abel Dominguez passed away in August, 2019.  Abel was 90, and he passed away peacefully in his sleep.  He, and George Bachman and their wives founded the WOA in St. Mary’s City, MD back in about the mid-1970s.  I remember going to some of the early Westsail rendezvous during that time.  Abel had W32 #194 Manana, a factory finished  W32, and George had W32 #699 Seagirt, a kit he was building.  George supplied one of the stories in my book about the founding of the WOA.  Thanks to them starting the WOA, and some very dedicated owners over the years since then, the WOA is still alive and active.
