As you may know, Bud was a former General Manager of Westsail in the early 1970's and continues today to help keep the dreams alive by supporting the Westsail owners community with his incredible knowledge of the boats and helping to source Westsail replacement parts.

I would like to reach out and thank all the Westsail owners and friends that sent me well wish greetings on my birthday yesterday, and they were mostly on the Westsail Facebook site. Seems as though there is much more discussion regarding Westsail on the Facebook site that on the WOA site, but I guess that's the way the new generation communicates, not like us old timers used to do. But of course, nobody still has party lines on their phone like I had when I was a teenager.
