If you missed your email on this subject here is the information for his celebration

Can you believe that on March 5th Bud will be 89.99 years old, and the next day he will be 90?

Please come to the party and help him celebrate this unprecedented occasion!

    Saturday, March 5th, 2022, 6:00 PM

    The Corner Restaurant & Bar

    8961 Adams Avenue, Huntington Beach

The first drink is on Bud, after that you are on your own and he will no longer be responsible for your condition…

We'll have plenty of snacks and lots of pictures of Bud’s 50 plus years of building boats, selling parts, installing engines, or just sailing and having fun.

Bring your memories of good old times at the boatyard, or with boats being built or restored, and with voyages made with the Taplin family.

If you have a story or a photo to share we would love to have you bring them!

If any of his original boat builders have any contact with fellow workers, please contact them and pass on this invite.

Please R.S.V.P. by March 1st to Bud’s Daughter

Beth Tangney at bethmtangney@yahoo.com or phone 714-270-3043

If you are unable to attend please send a birthday card to:

    Bud Taplin
    8692 Larthorn Drive
    Huntington Beach CA 92646

    Thank you
    Beth Tangney

Thanks to everyone that has sent me birthday greetings, and looking forward to my party tonight.  I am still walking and talking, and answering questions posed to me by the Westsail fleet of owners..
