Owner of "Sweet Cheeks" W43 in Tacoma, WA

    Does anyone know who the owner of the W43 named "Sweet Cheeks" is?  I believe he used to be active with the group.  I've looked at the boat a couple times for purchase and wanted to talk personally with him.....  Thanks

    Thanks Jay, he recently reached out to me. 


    I saw on an old blog where Bud sent over brochures and layouts of the W42 and W43 some years ago, do you still have those PDF files by chance?  If so, would you please share them with me.  I'm trying to make a hull/design decision.  Thank you.

    Take a look on the pages in the Vessel Info area.  Vessel Info

    I would also say that the "default" layout sketches made ~40 year may or may not represent the actual layout of any Westsail -- a onsite visit is my recommendation.

    Thanks Jay,

    I've probably spent more time looking at those pictures than the owners!  I was hoping to see specs that included the basics like cabin size, or schematics of the wiring/plumbing.  I'm guessing this would vary with the kit boats....  I've been on a few, but I was wondering if the headroom on the W42 was any different than the W43?  Any idea what the headroom is in the galley, or in the cabins/heads/p-ways?

    Phil: 

    That level of detail would be better asked on the forum - maybe the Westsail 42/43... I suspect that each boat is different.
