The Windbag

I'm in "that" mode of life where I'm minimizing everything I can, in both the house and on the boat. I keep throwing things away in the boat, yet I still find more and more stuff that I just don't need. Home is a different issue.

This is a boat free weekend. While cleaning out a closet at home, I came across some old documentation from the boat's previous life. With it were a small stack the Windbags and some what looks like pieces-parts of an original brochure (I think). All are in various condition from ok to not so great.

    Here're the Windbags I have:

Vol VI Num 4, Winter 1976 (2 issues)
Vol VI Num 3, Fall 1976
Vol VI Num 2, Summer 1976 (2 issues)
Vol VI Num 1, Spring 1976 (2 issues)
    Vol V Num 3, Fall 1975
    Vol V Num 2, Summer 1975
Vol IV Num 3, Fall 1974 (2 issues)
Vol III Num 1, March 1973

If anyone is interested in them, I'll send them to you along with the brochure stuff (which isn't much and has damage). All I ask is you reimburse me shipping. You can also pick them up from me. I live in Henderson, NV. I do make it to my boat in Wilmington, CA (Yacht Haven Marina) every couple of weeks, so if you are in SoCal, we can make arrangements for you to pick them up from me there, too. Email me at steve@nereus32.com and we'll figure it out.

I hope someone will want them, I hate to throw them away, but again the "stuff" in my life has to go. One day, I hope to just be down to "me" and the "boat"!

Hi Steve , glad you found a home for the Windbags . On a different note have you seen The W32 Nickel Dime ? The guy that just bought it supposedly keeps it in your area . Mike if I remember his name stopped by my boat a couple of times , We hit it off pretty good and he told me of his plans to refit Nickel Dime . And after he got her in shape he planed to sail to Alaska via Hawaii. Solo !  I thought him a very interesting young man, if not perplexing . Thanks , and good luck to you and yours .
