Found the page in a search.  We are Tom and Lynn Barrett original owners of Westsail 32 #565  “Wants-N-Tides”.  (Delivered April 1976)  Our son was born two  months after we took delivery.

  

I am also the author of the poem “Wants-N-Tides” which was published in the Windbag Volume 6, page 6. The poem  was recently set to music and can be found on You Tube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gjutt-c8efw  .

 

We owned Wants-N-Tides for fourteen years starting in Newport Beach, then to Gig Harbor, WA, and out to the Marshall Islands for nine years. The boat was sold about 1989 in the Marshall Island and I believe is in New Zealand.

  

 

We continue to sail and recently (2003-2008) completed a five year 5,000 mile cruise in a Hunter 356.

Now (at 75) I am doing RC sailboat racing.  Two pictures of launching in 1976 and one of our kids in the Marshall Islands about 1983.
