unsinkable W32

I just finished reading Roger Taylor's books about his boat Mingming II (not a Westsail), which he's done some impressive arctic sailing in. He mentions that Mingming II is packed with enough foam to make it unsinkable, and I immediately wondered how much foam would it take to make a W32 unsinkable?

Back of napkin calculation: 20K lbs boat / 62 lbs per cubic foot of water = 322 cubic feet of foam, which I further calculate to be a cube approximately 7'x7'x7'.

Anyone care to critique my calculation?

Nathan, you might be able to make the boat unsinkable, but it would not be usable, since it would probably float with the cabintop at sea level.
