    I just recently had a bad fall with serious injury and am totally freaked about going to the masthead to replace the tri color light bulb. Is there anyone in the SF bay area that would do that sort of thing for a reasonable fee. All the yards  want me to bring the boat to them and dry dock it and use a sky lift for$$$.

    Hi Alan , sorry to hear about your fall . Working at the masthead is not easy , lowering the mast to work up there is not easy either . Down here in So.Cal. we have a rigger that will go to the masthead .  I just learned the other day he want's $250. to do it , ouch . I would look for a rigger and not bother with a yard .
