Nellie Jo is on the hard in Mazatlan right now. In January we will be returning to do a refit on her and get back to sailing the Sea of Cortez. One of the things on our list is to remove the cap rail and fiberglass the area as done on other boats. I will not put wood back on but will paint the outer side with a brown stripe  to give the illusion of a cap rail. So I'll be bugging the forum with a bunch of questions.
