... Have any of you clever W28 owners come up with a brilliant way to check the water level in your tank?

    Steve,
This topic has been preoccupying me for quite while now.... I only have one gauge for the moment. It is the final one when the water stops pouring ;-)
Bute jokes aside, one sure method is to use a measuring cup when using your tap...? But what if you forget? No... that's a joke as well...
I'm sure we can ask the W32'ers, there is more of them after all ;-)

    Hola Steve,

I've been thinking about adding tank gauges to my system for a while and this outfit seems to have the parts to make it work on the plastic tanks in my 32. At about a $ 175.00 - $ 200.00, it is not high on my priority list however. I was thinking one sensor for each of the two tanks with one gauge and a selector switch.

    Werner,

This looks promising.  And at $44 for the sender and $32 for the gauge, it seems pretty reasonable as well.  Now, if I can just get access to the top of the tank, over the deepest part (near the centerline of the boat) so I can drill the hole needed to insert the sender.

    Thanks.

    Woj,

My current gauges are like yours.  When I hear "Hey there's no water coming out of the faucet", I know we're empty.  And, when filling using the watermaker, when water starts dripping out the faucet in the head, I'm pretty sure we're full.  It's all that in-between time that bugs me.
