If you went through and serviced them they should be ok.
If you want an easy way to get a quick check (close the valve, tighten the tee screw and fill the hose from the inside up to knee level above the sole) then go outside and check if they are leaking. The valve design will hold both ways (In/out and out/in) This will give you some Idea if you have a non workable valve and you can do this one at a time.

also when you launch they hold you in the slings until you have checked your valves and the packing on the shaft. (a good size bilge pump is always a +) lastly if you need to replace a valve cone (the rubber part) you can lightly drive a wooden plug in from the outside, replace the cone and then drive out the plug through the open valve, closing it after the plug floats free. (some water will come in during this operation)
Don't sweat it it will be fine, if you greased and cleaned the valves (I use plumbers silicon grease, bought at the local ACE, has worked for me 14+ years) Also check that the bronze cast into the rubber is not gone or broken.
