Hi

I purchased a Westsail 32 in Manly (QLD) Australia. She was previously named Tique (home port of Portland) and El Viajero. I bought her from Shaun Maloney. It is my understanding previous owners in Australia have been Rosalind and Rodney Lawson, and also Christian Pennisi.

She was built in 1976 with hull number WSSK07231276. Although a kit boat, her fit out is absolutely superb and true to the build manual.

I have done extensive work to the boat since buying her as a lot of things needed improving, maintenance, repair or replacing. It has been a lot of fun working and improving the boat and slowly she is nearing quite good condition.

She is now called Little Wing and is happily sailing around Moreton Bay in Queensland Australia and soon hopefully a bit further up and down the east coast of Australia.

This forum has already been very helpful on several occasion so big thank you and greeting go out to all you other Westsail enthusiasts.

Yeah I think it is the most beautiful name for the most gorgeous boat ;)

Please excuse some of the chaos on deck, poorly set sails etc. that is plainly visible in the movies. I am still very much learning, getting used to the boat and gradually making small improvements.
