Removal of propeller shaft from gearbox

    Hi all, I'm trying to remove the propeller shaft from the gearbox in order to change the engine mounts (Perkins 4-108). I've removed the two set screws and four flange bolts but the flanges refuse to part (not gone postal on them yet). Am I missing something? Any ideas? Regards Shaun.

    The two flanges have been together for so many years, they are married to each other.  Just have to slip a stiff putty knife blade between then and have them get a divorce.
