We used polycarbonate with uv protection purchased from feckleface.com. They custom cut the sheets for a small fee. 

Seams were done with SIS 440 teak deck caulking from teakdecking systems inc. In our case some of the bronze bars were too short and had to be replaced.

We are happy with the results.
