Micheal, the netting was hand tied long on before we bought the boat. It runs from the bow to the stantion near the back of the cabin where the gate is. We're not sure when or if we will re-install it.
The bow sprite was purchased from Bud several years ago. We removed it to have the U-bolt installed last year. That led to having it professionally polished, which costs almost as much as the bow sprite.
Dave Brown of the Westsail 32 Mandella fabricated the knights heads and added the U-bolt for me. I wanted them to go through the deck and tie into the bulk head as the wood one's had. They're a work of art, You can't even find the welds. We polished them ourselves as they were small.
