Jim, I was part of the group buy and have had some experience with the Cape Horn. First, the installation was pretty straightforward and I routed the control lines through blocks that I installed on the angled boom gallows brace (I have the stainless gallows, not the later heavier frame). On open waters offshore and on Lake Erie it worked very well, although it seems as though the sail balance of the 32 is problematic, I.e. my rig with a staysail, Yankee and main is overbalance by the main and I had to call another user to get his advice to take in a reef in the main. It worked well after that. Now that I’m on the ICW in Florida (Melbourne) I find the winds are too erratic due to the land-induced wind shadows. I unshipped the servo rudder until I go offshore again. Tom
