“Genesis” was delivered to Chattanooga, TN in spring of 1975.  I custom built it with many features they did not do at the factory.

Some examples:

All bulkheads are double bonded to hull.

All bulkhead cleats are screwed and glued in between hull ceiling supports and cabinets.

Airex contour core foam was glassed to hullside, then covered with 10 oz. cloth.  Results are an insulated hull, a quieter boat and there is no sweating. Important, because as time went on, air conditioning/heat was added.

Also I created much more storage throughout the boat.

Genesis spent first part of its life in fresh water. Then I lived aboard and cruised. Since 2000, it has been used only 5 months annually, then stored.

A wonderful boat to live aboard or cruise. Numerous Bud Taplin surveys.

As age has caught up with me, it is now time to decrease my waterline length.
