    So, I bought 1x19 wire rope to do the bobstay, sprit whiskers, and boomkin tangs (3/8" 1x19; 1/4" 1x19; and 9/32" 1x19 respectively), but decided that I'm going to hand splice 7x7 wire rope for my rigging instead.  Now I have brand new wire rope for the stays mentioned available for the taking to someone looking to redo these items.  There is more than enough wire to make these stays new with mechanical fittings at each end, and possibly swage.

    The wire rope I have and what I paid Rigging Only is as follows:

    16' of 3/8" 1x19 @ $3.60/ft = $58

    15' of 9/32" 1x19 @ $2.32/ft = $35

    32' of 1/4" 1x19 @ $1.75/ft = $56 

    Note: these are greater lengths than specified by the rigging because I didn't want to be short when building the stays... the paradox of never seeing one's rig standing and having to build it in a vacuum I guess.

    It's all brand new wire rope, mechanical or swage is to the new owner's discretion.  Make an offer, and I'll ship it out.
