Greetings,

I just purchased Jim Quast's boat Odyssey. He , after the storm in st. Johns , installed a mast , boom from another boat and got rid of the staysail and added a roller furling jib.

He said it balanced better and was less work. there is no place to add the staysail. He had to replace the pulpit etc. and did not accommodate for another stay. So , How balanced is it now and how much a concern is this in the big picture. I'm done with world cruising and mostly now off shore east coast and Caribbean Thank you for all you do. sorry to put you on a pulpit (pun intended) but you are the God of Westsail !!  

I know all who knew Jim knew a great man.
