Vessel Biography
In 1996 Seafari with a crew of four, dingy, many cases of wine and full stores entered the Annapolis Bermuda race in class 5. Notonly did she come in first in her class, but also on corrected time, beat all boats in class four and all but two in class 3. She arrivedin St. Georges Harbour at the same time as a Hinkley Bermuda 40. At this point in her life, SEAFARI did not have the Max Prop orSpinnaker. She has been prepared for the last seven years to sail to Europe and beyond. The unplanned retirement of her ownersis the reason for all of the new equipment (windlass, freezer, hot water heater, batteries etc.) As a result of the increasing size oftheir family, and the need for more room for guests they have reluctantly purchased a larger boat.
