    I am installing a totally new and premium sanitation system.

    I haven't decided on what tank I will be buying but I thinnk it will be going under the port forward berth as has been used in many Westsail designs. The above the waterline install design as Bud mentions in his service manual. The B-352 tank layout.

    Can someone share some pictures of this design for me?
    Particularly a photo of the tank installed in the port berth locker.

    And any other pictures and layout tips would be appreciated.

    Forgive me if there is an area here on this forum that already contains these pictures but I have no access to them using ios (ipad) devices.

    Thanks for all the hard work.

    I am probably buying a 50' roll of Trident 101 in a couple days. 
    It has the best reputation for being bulletproof to odors.

    David Great picture.

    However a word of caution, the tie downs look like the kind you use on your truck (Which are carbon steel with some paint) use caution with these as they can rust in the marine environment which may or may not be a big deal just be aware. You can always cut the webbing to remove a frozen ratchet if needed.

    I've been thinking about that...thinking of galvanized threaded rods with two top pieces made of epoxied wood or a heavy gauge plastic.

          Forget the galvanized threaded rod.  Use Stainless Steel.   Preferably type 316 (304 if the exposure is not too bad).  Do it once with SS, the cost of the project won't be all that much greater.  Be sure to use some anti-seize on the ss threads to prevent galling.

    Just a point of ref. on carbon steel.

    When I bought My 1975 built boat in 1997 it had all bare carbon steel fasteners holding the furniture (boards) together.   25% looked like new, 25% were completely gone. and 50% were in some state in between.   The lower in the boat the more likely they were gone.

    So I replaced all interior screws with bronze and in 2013 they all still looked like they did when I installed them in 1997 = Good

    I have found one ss that has rusted a little but most are still in great shape.  So carbon can work for temp stuff but it can fail.  Bronze is great!+, ss is ok if you have to have more strength than bronze.  and zinc coated stuff will work, but only if it is not chipped (in the threading or rubbed off somehow) or stretched (cracking in the zinc layer) My chain and anchor work out ok as an example of the zinc coating.
