    Hello Claus,
I have a set of lowers that have only 2 years on them... but they are the original 1/4" wire size, not the later specified 9/32" wire. They have norsemans on the lower end and the top is swaged from Bud.
Let me know if you're interested
    Thanks
    Gary

Not nearly ready yet, in fact reading this thread made me start thinking of rigging, as I wire or synthetic, must say I lean to wire. What I should do is get off this iPad and get back to installing my fridge, we had a awful winter and this is the first nice day since November.

    Claus,

Contact me by email, and I will give you some ideas of how to do it.  After all, after spending ten years building custom sailboats, I had to figure out clever ways to step masts when I did not know how long the rigging should be.  bud@westsail.com
