2022 Northern California Westsail Rendezvous

The 2022 NorCal Westsail Rendezvous will be held September 9-11, 2022 at Owl Harbor Marina, Isleton, California  95641.  

All Westsails and Westsailors past, present and future. Bring your boat, crew, or just yourself. We have dock space for all boats.  

This year we will be keeping the event simple - more of a sail-in then formal rendezvous as in the past.

Our local host is Jim Harrison of W32 Resolve, along with Randy Leasure and Jay Bietz.

There is a cover charge of $15 per adult for the rental of the meeting room and the Saturday dinner.

Please register in advance on the WOA web site  and contact the marina for your slip. 

• Parking - will be available in the marina behind a locked gate.
  Please observe the 5 mph speed limit in the marina as it is strictly enforced.
  Gate codes will be issued for access by vehicles. 

• Slip fees are $1 per foot per night - cash or check please. Please make your own slip arrangements with the marina - call 916-777-6055 / info@owlharbor.com.  

• Here is the Guest Slip signup in formation.  Be sure to mention that you are with the "Westsail Group" when you contact the marina. 

• Arriving by boat - The harbor is located just off the San Joaquin River at channel marker 41, with plenty of water to get to your slip at any time. It is an easy, and enjoyable trip, with no draw bridges to contend with coming from the Bay Area. 

• Those arriving by car use Highway 12 and 160 plus Google Maps et al.

• Friday night hors d'oeuvres potluck on the porch near the office - a fun event bring your favorite finger food.

• Saturday,  boat tours and visitation - 

  Larry and Margie Linder will be joining the rendezvous to share stories and pictures from their recent completion of their 7 year circumnavigation aboard W32 Althea. Please have your questions ready for Larry and Margie. 
  
  
  
  

  Also on hand will be the folks from Scanmar the makers of the Monitor Windvane and Pelagic Autopilot. 

• Brian Boschma the creator of the Pelagic will be around to share tips and advice on installation and usage. 

• Saturday dinner -We will be ordering several pizza's from Manny's Barzzeria for a picnic in the marina grounds or near/on the boats.

 4/28/2022 DJB raised the cover charge from 10$ to 15$..
