Edward,
Were you able to take pictures?
I have pics. I suppose I need to establish a google account then download the files there and then transfer here? Send me your e-mail address and I can forward pics. For instance today I through bolted a piece of Alaskan Yellow Cedar (AYC) to a ply bulkhead with SS carriage bolts and then glassed the AYC to the hull. This was a fix for an otherwise intact bulkhead but was inside a cabinet so not cosmetically important. For some cosmetic fixes I fabbed some glue lams and then through bolted to the deck. Some replaced, some repaired, some reengineered all depending on where, how bad, and how accessible.
