Hello, I purchased Freestyle hull #755 in February of 2018 and after a huge amount of sweat and tears she is ready to head south late this month. Portland, Or to SoCal then off to Mexico in November if all goes well. Thanks to Bud for all his input. Been a member for almost a year and just figured I would say hi now. If you see Freestyle my name is Scoo and would love to share stories.

Freestyle was a SoCal boat. A gentleman named Dennis built it I believe he was a cop. I purchased it from another guy in Blaine, Wa and had it trucked to Portland. Well after replacing thru hulls, sea cocks, motor, transmission, prop shaft, fuel tanks, most wiring and a chainplate or two along with some rigging. It is back in the water and we will see how I did. Also new main, all running rigging, sealed up holes in deck from rotting Sampson posts, installed new electronics, added radar and AIS. Still a ton of work to do on the wood trim on deck but that’s how I plan to spend the summer. And hopefully Mexico this winter.

Whew ! That's some work Scott . Your Freestyle is the one we remember and Dennis too now that you mention it . At that Rendezvous Bud pointed out that Freestyle had a lot of custom bronze fittings , I thought they looked pretty cool .
