Searching for Alice

    Hi Everyone,

    I'm hoping we can track down Alice, formerly known as Tomato, and originally as Ark Angel. She's a Westsail 32, 1975, hull# 448. I saw that she was for sail in 2019 and I'm curious what's become of her. I'm helping my husband track her down and she was originally built by my father-in-law and he sailed quite a bit on her back in the 70's and 80's. If anyone knows where she is--I believe last location was Maine?--would love any updates! Thank you!--Julia Gabriele

    I was unable to get a hit on "Alice" or "Tomato" or "Arc angel" or hull "448" in the online database. 

    If the vessel is a documented vessel with the US Coast Guard there is a way to search that data base on line.

    I do have information and records on W32 #448 Ark Angel, now named Alice, and her five owners.  Please send me an email at bud@westsail.com, and I will be happy to pass on the information to you, as well as the name and location of the last owner that I have on my records.

    Julia,

    Alice spent two winters (18/19, & 19/20) stored at the same Maine boatyard where my W32 Jura was stored.  I know who the owners were at that time.  I believe they sold Alice in late 2019.  I can connect you with these most recent sellers if you desire.  They had done a rather extensive refit on Alice only to discover their priorities had shifted once she was relaunched.
