Nice vid guys , looking forward to your blog . Galvanized rig should be quite interesting . One thing I noticed about Rad Mode was the flush Lazarette and large radius on the cabin top edge  (just like a W28) . Was this something Westsail changed on the molds ? Anyhow good luck to you and yours .

    Rad Mode,

I started from a sunken WS32, but you guys have my respect for taking on a project... :)

Things I've learned is to have a list of projects AND check them off.  Else it always seems as though nothing has been accomplished.

I also pondered galvi rigging, but opted for SS instead (a personal choice); however, are you guys planning on splicing it (at least I assume so)?  I bought my splicing vice from Brion Toss and it will make you cry to buy it, but it was very much worth it in making my rigging.  Sometimes the right tool for the job ... is the right tool for the job.  I spliced my rigging in about 3 weeks or so, and it is the envy of the yard .. :)

I'm always available to chat if desired, and like most elephants .. one bite at a time.

    Yours,

    T.

Well hello guys, great to see you taking on such a big project. I started from a bare hull 5 years ago and am nearing completion, just a bit of wiring, plumbing, tanks, rigging and upholstery left. Just don't let it get you down, be prepared to take a break now and again. Take care of yourselves and the boat.  And hope it's work it in the end. I'm looking forward to launching June '17. What a retirement gift!
