I thought I'd post a link to some pics of some of the equipment that came with our W32. It's gotten us so excited to build this boat, we're going to be knocking out the rest of the work on our Cheoy Lee so we can get cracking on this thing. We're super excited! What a solid boat!

Also, I don't know what probably 1/4 of this stuff is for. Most likely gonna need some advice from the pros at some point.

    Justin:

Looking at your pic's -- you can probably use most of it ...

The turn buckle on the left leaning against the bucket -- looks to be the kind that on my boat.

Items that break  has multiple images of possible issues.

The coolent that this unit is designed for is probably (in the US at least) no longer allowed to be uses -- research on line.

    Thank Jay,

I'll look into the compressor issue. We are very much thinking of junk-rigging the boat, so the turnbuckles may not matter.

    Thanks for the info!

If the compressor was never used, I think the oil can be drained and refilled and new style refrigerant can be used.

check with a reputable boat refrigerator guy.

On a sailing forum somewhere, Johnny Kaplan said he was planning on converting his W32 "Wanderer" to a junk rig. This was a couple years back. I remember reading that Arne Kverneland from the Junk Rig Association had designed a rig for him. You might want to try reaching out to Arne.

I haven't read any updates on whether Johnny followed through.

I find Junk rigs intriguing. Let us know how your project goes if you pursue it.
