    Depends on where your slip is :) 

    Tortuga - Randy Leasure is at Pier 39 which are very rocky and rollie slips  - uses 3/4" + plus spring lines.

    Pygmalion - is in Alameda Marina - and I use 4 - 30 ' black 1/2" braid brand unknown. I figure that since the white dock lines usually turn grey/black/brown -- to just start with black.:)

    Sea Breeze, my W32, is in Savannah Marina in Turner's Creek in Georgia, currently a quiet place.  She's docked using 5/8" 3 strand white nylon lines about 30' long.
