    Hello all!

Say were are now giving thought to deck layouts on our project (yes it is still moving forward!).

I was wondering how many W42 owners have main mast running rigging (main/jib halyards, etc.) leading to the cockpit?

Particularly, how do you deal with the transition between the lower forward and upper main cabin transition?

    Any thoughts/ideas welcome!

    Hey Rob -

We run our lines over a polished ss rub strake and then through a 'ganged' block of rollers to a self tailing winch mounted on the stbd cabin top inside the dodger.

The winch serves the main, genoa and stay sail halyards. We also use it to trim and/or furl the self tending stay sail.
