    Interior Layou

Foreward Cabin has an offset double berth* with custom mattress topper/pad added in 2019, to port. Two large bins for storage below and three pull out drawers and a smaller bin gives additional storage. Across to starboard is a hanging locker with mounted fire extinguisher, three more bins, and a book shelf. This cabin has plenty of ventilation with the foreword hatch, a Breeze Booster with screening and a 12 vdc fan.

Directly aft is the head with two doors to give lots of privacy and space for washing, changing, etc. Another fire extinguisher is mounted in the head.  An Airhead composting toilet with exhaust fan eliminates the head odors and space requirements associated with standard marine toilets, Y-Valves, Hosing and Holding tanks. Across, to starboard, is another hanging locker with a mounted CO2 Fire extinguisher, storage outboard clothing drawers, and book shelf. Chain storage for the Primary Anchor (300’ 3/8 BBB) is located under the cabin sole in the head.

The Main Cabin has 2 settees*, the one to starboard is a pull out “Trundle” type. The Pilot berth* above that, is an excellent sea berth during long passages.  For cold weather sailing there is a  Force 10 (Now SIG) Cozy Cabin Heater mounted on the bulkhead. The varnished teak is protected by a custom heat shield and a non-electric, Eco-Fan and another 12 vdc fan, for dispersement of heat through the boat. Also, an Aladdin lamp mounted over a drop-leaf table. More storage bins and book shelves are located both Port and Starboard.

Aft is the Galley to Port with icebox, custom cabinet installed over icebox for storage of cutlery and nesting Cuisinart pots and pans, with 2 detachable handles included. Force 10 2 burner stove and oven with broiler. This newer model maintains constant oven temperature. Custom mug rack over double sink and more storage for cookware, plates, etc. Propane to the stove and Cabin Heater is controlled by a Xintex solenoid valve with sensors.

Across from the Galley, to Starboard, is the Wet locker and stand up chart table. On top, and outboard, on the Wet Locker is an ICOM 802 SSB with Pactor Modem. The large chart table has plenty of paper chart storage in 3 drawers and bin below. There are also two bins in the chart table as well as storage outboard. Mounted over the chart table is the VHF, Radar, and Chart Plotter. In the lockers aft of the chart table is the electrical panel solar panel and wind generator, and wash down pump connections. The fourth fire extinguisher is there as well.

Finially, the engine room with Yanmar 4JH3E diesel, is behind a one piece ladder and thick wooden hinged door.

*Foam and upholstery replaced in 2019

    Greetings,

We have been asked about our Windlass.

Here are a few pics of our Custom Simpson Lawrence Manual Windlass with double 3/8" BBB Chain Gypsy.

This has the same bolt "Footprint' as a standard Windlass which made mounting to the Bud Taplin Stainless Steel Bowsprit, which we had power coated white, easy.
