Where on the Westsail 43 was the water heater mounted.  It looks as though it was mounted on a shelf in the starboard stern  in the engine compartment.  My understanding it that the water heater should be lower than the heat exchanger. The other question was where where the water tanks originally vented.  Mine just drain into the bilge.

I  bought Synergy (she is one of the Jomarco boats) last may and the prior owner had made numerous improvements?
