Aries Mounting

    Hi Bud,

I am in the process of finally mounting my Aries vane. The drawings from the build manual show the aft mounts at 9 inch centers from the end of the boomkin. I have the stern pulpit with mainsheet hoop fitted and the aft baseplates are exactly where the Aries mounting blocks go. I can place the mount 6 inches from the end of the boomkin without interference otherwise it has to be placed almost 12 inches aft which I think may not give me enough clearance between the Aries and the boomkin end piece and / or may create too much stress on the boomkin. Any recommendations on this?

Question 2. Is the folding ladder still available for a retro-fit to the stern pulpit?

    Thanks,

    Werner

Send me an email to btaplin@westsail.com and I can help you figure out what to do.  Yes, the ladders are available, so include that request in the email.
