    Hello,

Irecently purchased Nez O Vent which I will be renaming Sternidae. I am replacing the bobstay rigging. I see on the parts website that it has 3/8 wire with a 5/8 pin. the plate for my bobstay at the hull will accept a 1/2 inch pin. I find no fittings, swaged or mechanical, that have 3/8 wire and 1/2 inch pin. I don't relish the thought of replacing the plate that is bedded into the hull. Do you have any suggestions?

use a dremel or a round file too enlarge the hole on its unloaded side..the construction manual shows  two 0.64 inch holes 2  inches apart.

James is right, just enlarge the hole to fit a 5/8" clevis pin.  I would appreciate if you would contact me at bud@westsail.com, so I can update my records of Westsail owners from Andre to you...
